Day 3 - 09.08.2015

I took an ICE train from Stuttgart to Cologne. This train was completely overloaded and I decided to leave the train in Mannheim and change to an IC train. It was a good choice, because of more space and a more interesting route along the Rhein with a lot of beautiful villages. I recommend to take the IC in generell, it will take longer but its more comfortable and you see much more from the beautiful nature. The trainstation is in front of the "Kölner Dom", what an impressive welcome.

Cologne is not that nice as I expected, but maybe I chose the wrong streets. I went to the Hard Rock Cafe and this one is also not a pretty one.

 The City hast not that typical city center as Munich or Vienna. But it is still beautiful around the Cathedral "Kölner Dom" and the building itself. I also found the historical town hall of Cologne and that is a beautiful building.

It seems to be a nice city for shopping.
