Day 1 - 07.08.2015
It was really better to start in the morning. The train was not overloaded like the night before.
I left the train station and it seems, that Munich is not a beautiful city, but the center is really wonderful. Lots of great buildings, lots of peoples and quiet a lot of streetmusician and artists. The beer museum is just opening in the afternoon so I was walking around and visited the Hard Rock Cafe.
The Viktualienmarkt is a real market with lots of local drinks and food. Lots of natives are wearing a "Dirndl" and those typical leatherpants called "Lederhos´n", and in the middle is a big maypole.
I am also visiting the Peterskirche. A beautiful church. Well I am an atheist, but I am still impressed about the fact, that people build such big buildings for a "god".
After that the museum is open. It is about Oktoberfest and beer, of course and it is a small museum but fascinating. You should see it, it is worth to visit it.
I am walking the most of the day and it´s really a cool but old fashioned city. I love it.
There are people from all over the world and in every age. Its really worth to visit this city.
I slept in the Hotel Kavun. Funny thing, this Hotel has not its own reception. I have to go to the Hotel opposite the street for picking up my key. The Hotel itself was good, the air con works very well and the bathroom is big enough.
